With a fresh degree in Business from UC Santa Barbara, Chris started working in event production in 1990. Through his interests and passion for action sports such as skiing, snowboarding and mtn. biking, Chris co-founded Global Event Management, Inc. in 1996. Now, with over 16 years of event production and promotions management experience, Global Event Management calls some of the leading action sports companies their partner. These experiences have led Chris to all corners of the globe pushing action sports, and the companies supporting them, to the forefront of consumers minds.

Vice President
Todd graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1993 and has been an avid outdoor enthusiast since growing up in Lake Tahoe, CA. His 12 years of experience in event marketing covers a wide range of knowledge from national promotional tours, to sports event management as well as niche international projects in Nepal and Mexico. In 2001 he was integral in creating the Red Bull Rampage, an event that helped revolutionize the mountain bike industry and is still considered one of Red Bulls most successful events to date.
Clients in Todd’s portfolio include Red Bull, Hyundai, Anheuser Busch, Nestle waters, Credit Suisse First Boston, Clif Bar and many others. He brings a unique ability to help clients think outside the box and a fresh spin to their products with innovative and well designed programs.

Director of Operations
James Clifford “Cliffy” has been involved in the event marketing world for the last 10 years. His experience in sport marketing and event production started in the ski industry back in the 90’s working with athletes to create new and exciting promotional direction. Moving on, Cliffy’s next step was taking the ideas and creativity to the event marketing world. Cliffy has been with Global Event Management for over five years always working to bring each event to the next level by creating new ideas and ensuring they are executed flawlessly. Cliffy is a believer that everyone should have a good time - so whether it’s at an event, or in the office, there is a good chance you will find him with a smile on his face and a crazy new idea he wants to try. While away from the event world, Cliffy loves the outdoors - either with skis on his feet or a Moto between legs - he has a blast enjoying life with his family in Tahoe.

Eric’s vast professional network and ten-year background in marketing, sales, and business development has established him as a leader in the Event Marketing field specializing in integrated marketing and event production campaigns. A veteran of marketing consumer products, Eric’s responsibilities include recognizing business opportunity, analyzing current and future trends, strategic brand planning, facilitating activation plan, maintaining relationships, as well generating sales.
Companies represented in Eric’s portfolio include Red Bull, AOL, Washington Capitals, Anheuser-Busch, Sara Lee, K2 Sports Inc., VW, Motorola, Apple Computers, Utah Ski and Snowboard Assoc., Helly Hansen, Voltec Inc., Philip Morris, Allied Domecq, KIA Automotive, Mountain Sports Media.
Throughout his many projects, Eric is considered to be the leader that keeps campaigns on track while developing superior marketing campaigns that utilize cutting-edge concepts to achieve unparalleled results. Having a solid understanding of budgets and bottom lines, Eric also controls financial matters and the development of internal systems that allow projects to run efficiently and maintain profitability.

Andy has worn many hats during his 9 year tenure in the event world, from photographer to project manager and everything in between. His career with Global Event Management began back in 1999 leading the Mount Gay Rum Barbados Challenge and he has been involved with most GEM projects ever since. He is as experienced with event production as he is with event marketing. Prior to his recent return to Global Event Management he spent two years as Events Director for The Village at Squaw Valley USA where he laid the foundation for success by increasing event attendance an average of 200% and generated over $100,000 in funds for charitable organizations including the Heuga Center for MS and the Humane Soceity of Truckee-Tahoe. When not on an event site, or creating the next great marketing campaign, you can find him spending time with his family, riding his bike or getting tuned up with friends at a concert or bbq somewhere.
